Students often lack the skills to learn effectively, despite receiving the content. Coachbit recognized that students need guidance not only on what to learn but how to build lasting habits for success. Our mission was to craft a solution that combines coaching, daily accountability, and a science-backed approach to build life-changing routines.

At Coachbit, we adopted a product-led approach, focusing on delivering value through our platform while continuously refining the user experience based on feedback. We actively engaged with our three key customer profiles: students, coaches, and parents.

Building key features over time
As we continuously improved Coachbit, we prioritized features that made the platform more intuitive, engaging, and aligned with our students’ daily needs. Here are a few key features we introduced over time to enhance the user experience:
Morning and Evening Routines with Gamified Habits: To help students build better habits, we introduced personalized routines that guide users through essential tasks each day. With a gamified experience, students earn rewards for completing their routines, creating a sense of accomplishment and motivation to stay on track.
Calendar View for Daily Homework & Activities: We added a calendar feature to give students a clear, visual overview of their school assignments and extracurricular activities. This helped them plan their day effectively and ensure they were staying on top of their responsibilities.
In-App Surveys for Real-Time Feedback: To continually improve the product based on user insights, we integrated in-app surveys, allowing students, coaches, and parents to provide feedback easily. This helped us tailor the experience and ensure we were meeting the evolving needs of our users.
By building these features, we strengthened the connection between students and their learning journey, while making the platform more engaging and user-friendly for both students and their support networks.





Measurable impact: Reducing Refunds and Churn to Unlock Revenue Growth
Through a product-led strategy focused on improving the customer experience and addressing key pain points, Coachbit achieved significant reductions in refunds and churn, boosting revenue and customer retention.
We reduced the monthly 30-day money-back refund requests from new customers from $11,015 to $148.
By focusing on existing customer pain points, we reduced churn from 11% to 4.5% in 3 months.

Transforming the Coachbit ecosystem
As Coachbit evolved, we continually improved the experience for both students and their support networks. Key upgrades included a complete redesign of the Coach Dashboard for more intuitive coaching and enhanced student progress tracking, alongside new onboarding flows for parents to simplify their experience.
